Do you have a storefront/retail space?
We do not.  Our location is for pickup of pre-ordered items only.  We do partner with two retail locations that carry our mason jar cakes.  Those locations are Tomlinson Sales Company in Florence, SC (843-669-1854) and Paddle & Board in Clemson, SC (864-624-2264).

 

Do you offer same-day pickup?
We do not offer same day pickup

How much notice is needed for an order.

We prefer 1-2 weeks' notice for orders.  We can sometimes accommodate orders with shorter notice.

How can an order be placed? 

Orders can be placed by email, phone (please leave a message), or message us on our Facebook page. Email is the preferred method of contact.

How is pickup handled?

Because the bakery is a small business and is not always open, pickups are scheduled on Mon-Thurs from 6:30-8:30pm.  Friday and Saturday pickups are scheduled from 12-5pm.  There is a little flexibility in pickups, but please note the main pickup times when you place your order.  The exact time will be agreed upon between both parties.  Please stick to your pickup time.  If changes need to be made, please email at sweetleighscakes@gmail.com

Is a deposit required? 

For orders of $125 or more, a deposit is required in the amount listed below

$25 non-refundable deposit due to book order with a total of $125 to $250

$50 non-refundable deposit due to book order with a total of $251 or more

(Balance due 2 weeks before pickup or immediately if order is placed less than two weeks before pickup.  Orders of $125 or more, made within the 2-weeks of pick-up, are due in full immediately when ordered)

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, card, Paypal, Venmo and CashApp

We currently do not ship.

Do you make allergy-friendly desserts?

A Gluten Friendly option is available in some flavors (upcharge for this option).  Gluten Friendly cakes are made with rice flour, but still produced in the same kitchen and on the same equipment as our other menu items. 

Our facility does use nuts in some recipes, so anyone with nut allergies should be aware of that.

Can I order single mason jar cakes?

Although we do occasionally have flash sales where individual cake jars are available, please click here for minimum mason jar cake order information.  Our flash sales, for individual jar orders, are announced during the week they will occur on our Facebook page

 

How do I order custom labels?

When you place your mason jar order, let us know if you would like custom labels.  As we communicate, you can provide us with photos, text, logos (in jpeg format).  We will provide you with a label proof for approval before we print the final labels.

Do you offer cake tastings?

We do offer cake tastings for events.  We offer 8 of our most popular flavors (red velvet, caramel, chocolate, carrot, cookies-n-creme, chocolate-chocolate, lemon buttercream, funfetti vanilla buttercream).

Do you make cupcakes, cake pops or cake squares?

No.

Do you make decorative and custom cakes?

No.  We do not make custom, decorative or tiered wedding cakes
